I still don't understand why they want for a smaller battery on the Sport.. My Urbane LTE can last at least 18 hours a day with always-on screen and a few calls done over the day (on LTE and Bluetooth mode).

Early reports show around 14 hours of battery life for this new device.. Not sure i will let go my Urbane LTE yet..
 
I can see a smaller battery if it slimmed down the device....But reduced life is a pretty high cost for thickness.

I'm no expert on cell radios, but you think they might have needed the room for AT&T and Verizon radios? It might not work that way, but I know the Urbane 2 had two models with different frequencies for AT&T/Verizon. It appears the Sport can be activated on either.

The guys said on the podcast that the radios probably added to the thickness.
