I am disappointed with the lack of security patches being issued by LG for the international versions of the G4 since September. After the big announcements of monthly security updates over the summer, LG simply hasn't followed through.
The last patch for the H815 was released in September; since then, Google has issued two security patches, one on Oct 5 and most recently on Nov 2, but none of these have made it to the H815, at least in the region of the world I am in (Europe).
In mid-October, LG started making noises about their efforts to release Marshmallow, but that hasn't materalized so far. While moving the G4 to the next major version of Android is nice, it is decidedly less urgent than keeping on top of sec vulnerabilities, as far as I am concerned. I'd rather have LG keep their promise to stay on top of the security patch situation than to drop the ball until they get Marshmallow out the door.
Perhaps LG needs to learn to walk and chew gum at the same time.
