LG3 G3 Only Rings 3 Times Before Going To Voicemal

Does anyone know now to change the setting so the phone rings more than 3 times before it goes to voicemail?
I have US Cellular, and they told me it's because I use a Zedge ringtone. I switched to one that came on the phone and it's makes no difference. I would think there should be a way to change this. Hoping someone knows how!

Have you done anything out of the ordinary with your phone?

There is a setting that you can change the time the phone pings the towers, but that will make your phone take a hit on battery life.

If you find out that setting is where it is supposed to be I would try a factory reset instead of upping the ping interval.

I had this problem about three years ago. I called my carrier, AT&T, and had them extend the number of rings to six or seven(the max), before going to voicemail. It has absolutely nothing to do with where you got your ringtones from. Good luck with US Cellular.

Check setting for wait time until call is forwarded. Settings-> Call-> Call Forwarding-> Unanswered . Press Update and extend wait time for longer period, may only be set to 10 seconds now.
