LGV10 or keep my note 4

The V10 got a pretty good advert for it which played for a few months last year but the truth is, the V10 is for a new line with a niche audience in mind. Hell, I've only been to one T-Mobile retail store that actually recognizes the phone from a distance and it was tucked to a spot nearest to the corner of a wall surrounded by several Samsung Galaxy and Note devices with an LG G4 with the tan leather backing and and an LG Stylo next to the G4.

It IS a shame that it's overlooked. The V10 is basically the G4 with more memory, RAM, fp sensor and another screen.

If everything I've read and seen, the camera is a "game changer". That alone should demand more love....Regardless, I'm looking forward to it

Was a huge Note 4 fan, (even wrote in Note 4 forum "the grass is not always greener") Used all of the Note phones, 2, 3, 4, never thought I'd find a better phone. Then the V10 came along......sorry Sammy, I have a new love!!! The V10 is everything the Note 4 is, minus the pen, times 5. Its like the G4 only WAY better. Personally love the LG skin, can't imagine using any launcher, no need to. Visually appealing to me, love the second screen, replaceable battery, 64 gigs on board, 200 gig more if I need it. Battery for me is strong, and, if I need to, just pop in another. (haven't had to yet). NO LAG, AT ALL. Very pleased, and trust me, I've tried every phone out there. Actually think this will be my daily driver for a good long time. Can't see myself looking back to the Note 4....ever. Great phone that it was, R.I.P. dear friend.

Just ordered my V10, but I'm keeping my Note 4 close by. I don't get why this phone isn't getting more hype. All reviews and videos I've viewed has this phone as a beast.....guess I'll have to find out for myself....

I've had a note 4 since launch day. Just picked up a V10 yesterday. I've used Sammy's since the gs3. If the Note 6 doesn't have a removable battery I'm done with Sammy. The V10 is pretty nice so I'll be keeping the G-Note 4 and V10

I just got the V10 yesterday & have been messing around with it quite a bit today. I'm thinking my G-Note 4 is now my back up. The V10 kicks azz!

I'm getting my v10 today and like to find out about the buttons all being on the back. Does it take long to get use to them.
I'm sure I'll get use to them after I wear the front out.
One other thing I keep a wallet case on my phones and I need to know if one I get off eBay or Amazon will work with the finger scanner.

I don't remember it taking to long to get used to the back buttons when I got my G3 ( had G4 and now V10 since then). It will probably seen weird at first but you will start loving it in no time.

The FPS is very hit and miss for me with a case but I'm on T-Mobile which hasn't pushed any sort of update since the phone was released. Also, some people have issues, some don't, and it doesn't seem to be very case dependent.

Looks like the MM update that Verizon pushed out made the FPS much better so there is hope if it doesn't work perfectly for you right away.

I started my relationship with LG with a G2 a few years ago, which was a great phone, and, briefly had a G3, before I started my love affair with Samsung. I also have had a few G4's here and there, and, must say, it was never a difficult adjustment for me to use the back buttons. I am tall, and I have above average size hands, but, it has always been a mute issue for me that they are located on the back. To me, more often than not, when the volume rockers and power switch are on the side, they are accidentally bumped. I think LG hit a home run with the buttons on the back.
As far as the FPS, I cannot address that, because I have yet to use it. I am a big fan of the "knock on" feature of LG. Since the screen is already lit when I knock on, I just use a pattern or PIN. I also keep my V10 in an Otterbox Defender, so, the FPS is a little hard to get to.

*Side note, I decided to download MM yesterday on my V10, and, must say, so far, it has been a seamless update, running smooth as silk. ( I have MM on my backup phone, a Moto X Pure, so, I was anxious to put it on my V10)

I would be real surprised if you don't love your V10, or, have any issues with the relocated buttons.

Good luck, and have fun!!!

OK....I've discovered a few tricks on my V10, one of which is "double taping" the screen. Double tap a black screen and the V10 wakes up. Double tap an empty spot on any page and the screen goes to sleep. This feature DOES NOT work with Apex Launcher.
If anyone has a work around for this feature, please share.

Not sure about apex, but nova prime has the double tap to sleep feature.
