LGV20 Callers hear echo?

Just started on my son's phone a couple months ago. I don't hear echo if he puts his phone on speakerphone. This occurs on all calls. Any ideas?

Has he tried noise suppression and voice clarity?

Looks like it might have been a dirty Sim card...wow. I was about ready to send it to LG, but decided to follow a long shot I saw on a troubleshooting page.... Well, so far after cleaning it with a pencil eraser, not echoing. Who would have thought!

Not saying that was it, but it's not doing it now.
