LGV20 google assistant

LGV20. This phone is driving me crazy!! It randomly changes my music when im trying to jog. I think it's google assistant. I never use it and just want it to go away. Please help!!!

If the phone is in your pocket it could be sensing your leg tapping the screen which will cause it to skip ahead or back. Also, if you have it in a plastic arm case, the protective plastic screen of the arm case could be causing screen taps.

I have more skips if I'm working outside with my phone in my pocket than if its sitting static on a desk or in my console. Google Assistant requires the "OK Google" keyword to wake it up and then the command "play next track", etc.

Are you hearing the google assistant tone before a track skips?

What application are you using to play/stream your music?
Is the screen locked when you're running?
Do your headphones have controls that you might be bumping during the workout?

If you don't use Google Assistant, I suggest turning it off.

Do you have the 2nd screen always on display enabled? There's a media control on the second screen which allows you to change the track. I'm guessing your leg is touching that and changing the tracks for you. Try turning that off or just flip your phone around, having the screen facing away from your leg.
