Hey all,
So I had Ghost Armor put onto my G3 the other day. I've had it on a couple of devices and like it a lot, plus the warranty on it is nice. Anyway, I initially grabbed the clear Ghost Armor but ended up going back to the kiosk after about 48 hours since there were some imperfections in the application (little bit of dust under the screen protector, a small bubble in 2 spots). So I had them reapply a new one, this time going with the matte (never had the matte before, but it looks awesome, and is nice for eliminating the reflections outdoors). So I noticed after having the matte armor put on that my light sensor is no longer working on the phone (auto brightness). It seems strange that it is not working since there is actually a cut out in the armor where the light sensor is (I'm assuming it's the little circle closest to the camera on the front?). Was working perfectly until the matte armor went on the phone. I know for sure that it is not working because I downloaded Lux and you can grab readings in different light levels with the sensor. It doesn't matter what level of lighting I'm in, indoors or out, there is always just a flat reading of 1lx in the app. With Lux I can use the front camera as a sensor instead of the actual sensor and it works normally auto adjusting, so that's a plus. Just a little confused as to why the sensor would not be working when it isn't actually covered? Unless that little circle actually isn't the sensor and I'm way off base...I've tried a soft reset, pulling the battery, etc. Nothing seems to get it working. I don't really want to pull the Ghost Armor off since it is on there perfectly and the camera work around with Lux is fine. Anyone have any ideas?
