LightFlow now works

Lightflow worked fine (as far as notification control) on my non-rooted Sprint GS3. The only function that needs root is keeping the LED lit while the screen is on, which is hardly critical.

The real problem with LF and the GS3 is the damn talkback bug. I had to uninstall it because I got tired of my phone talking all the time.

talkback bug only affects stock launcher (TW) bro, its fine with nova or whatever.
as for LED while screen is on.... who would want that? lmao :beer:

Like I said, LED with screen on is hardly critical.

But you've given me a reason to try another launcher. Problem is I actually like TW just fine.

youll keep the good TW things (the pull down toggles) and all the other features if u like them. all a launcher affects is the actual home screen (use gestures, hide statusbar etc) and the app drawer (make it look pretty lol) plus its very light and fast.
with Nova you can go to settings and "import" the way your homescreen is just now so no pain
launcher is just an app.... a skin on top of the visible part of touchwiz really :beer::beer:

Thanks funky, I had NO IDEA that Nova allowed you to import your setup from other launchers. I had always used Apex when I used a different launcher, but the initial setup was always a pain. Glad I bought Nova Prime when it was on sale a while back. Giving it a try now.

actually, I use and need this feature all the time. Why? When my phone is docked, after a minute the screensaver activates (but the screen is technically still "on" ) . So if I get a new text/email/etc., I can walk into the room, glance at my phone, and see if I have any notifications because the led is working with the screen on.

very useful for me.

I testing Nova now. Some things I like better, and few things I don't. Interestingly, though, when I imported my TouchWiz setup in only pulled in 5 of my 6 pages, and I had to set the 6th one up manually.

thats annoying man. i only use 3pages lol.
i dont like how you cant change icon label font or colour like on Go but i dont use many txt labels on my icons so can live with it


EDIT did you have Nova set to have 6pages? duno if it would matter....

It asked me if I wanted to import the first time I started it up, so I hadn't done any configuration yet. If the default is five, that probably explains it. But if it offers to import your existing pages, it should import ALL your existing pages.

Not a huge issue, though. Just a minor annoyance.

true, still a minor headache though n imagine people with 7 screens.

i didnt used to but most are very thankful for suggestions and send u free APKs for helpin them etc....

not sure if it's just me (hoping not!!) but lightflow lite seems to be working much more consistently with the most recent update. it also is using much less battery life according to the charts. i'm happy with it finally! (verizon gs3, unrooted, nova prime)

anybody else having similar results?
