Like or Dislike New Bionic Form

Motorola announces a phone in January, we are in late June. They are on revision 3 and who the hell knows how many more revisions they will go through, if they can't launch this phone before the end of July, they should cancel it. The GS2 and iFanboy phone will certainly eat it for lunch unless it gets out and grabs business now.

Also Moto should have pressured Verizon to hold off on the tiered data plans until they had the Bionic out, not its not so hot to have 4G if you data costs you an arm, a eg and your family pet.

Well its almost certainly the Bionic, wnrussell and Winston25 both seem to act like it is. And they've both repeatedly confirmed that the Bionic name now applies to Project Targa, and the pics we have seen definitely look like Targa. So the pics we saw are Bionic, assuming they don't redesign or revise it again. If they do, I agree it should be cancelled rather than turn Moto into the laughingstock of VZW.

Again, I don't think Moto had any bargaining room to ask VZW to do them any favors, considering their failure to deliver a true flagship LTE device to VZW in a timely manner. I think any power they had to influence Verizon's plans went out the window on April 16th.

To be fair, DNF was announced 15 years ago. This phone is doing a hell of a lot better than that dreadful game.

I agree with the rest of your post though, this thing needs to be released very soon.

I liked the original but I do like the new form factor too. I will wait and see once more info leaks and see what it looks like, although to be honest to me it is more about the specs and how it runs rather than what it looks like. Take the OG droid for example that was a huge seller and everyone said it was so ugly.
