Limit CPU without rooting?

This probobly isnt possible but if it is could someone tell me how. When playing some games it would be nice to make the battery last longer. Thanks.

Only way I can think of is to turn on power saving mode which does limit the power of the CPU. You could get better battery with alternatives like battery saving apps (I highly recommend Juice defender) But as far as undervolting the CPU you have to be rooted

You could use batteryGuru it's made for the cpu inside the S4
