Limited Data and Wi-Fi?

This may seem elementary for you more geeky people but...
At home and work (which is where I spend most of my time) I have Wi-Fi. The way I understand it is, if you use Wi-Fi you don't get a data charge from VZW.
Is that correct?
If so, I'll never go over on my data plan.
I have both Wi-Fi and Mobile turned on my Thunderbloat all the time and most of the time it's on Wi-Fi.

That is correct. If you are connected to WiFi you will not use any part of the data package you purchased from VZW.
