[Gingerbread] Das BAMF "uber BAMF" Preview 1 & 2


So what is uber BAMF? Uber BAMF is a hybrid of the 2.1 ROMs and Sense 3 ROMs all rolled into one big hot-swappable "uber" ROM. Like the old Contra-style side-scrolling Rosie? It's in there. Prefer to have the 3D carousel from Sense 3, flick a switch and you've got that instead.

• All new BAMF Settings integrated into the stock settings menu. (Completely new courtesy of Erishasnobattery)

• Selectable Sense 2.1/Sense 3 Lockscreen
• Built in Screen shot function courtesy of ihtfp69.
• Sense 3 Keyboard with Trace
• Fully working HTC Watch.

Tweaks moved from init.d files to kernel ramdisk
Fixed init.d support
Slight installer script tweaking (teamwin works, but some functionality is lost)
Fixed market fingerprint, which will now show all market apps and may? restore them now.
Added Wake on Volume to BAMFSettings
Added BAMFSettings to app drawer.

-=RECOMMENDED SETUP INSTRUCTIONS=-​

• PLEASE PERFORM A FULL WIPE BEFORE FLASHING - THIS IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED. You should wipe then flash, be sure to use BAMF Settings to backup home screens.
• AFTER SETTING UP GOOGLE ACCOUNT, LET GOOGLE SYNC FULLY TO AVOID LAG
• Any radio after MR2 is acceptable, but the latest leak is providing excellent results
• The installer is large and requires AT LEAST 120MB on your SD card. Please make sure this available BEFORE you flash..

I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR ANY OF THIS... JUST THE MESSENGER :) YOU KNOW THE DEAL, FULL WIPE AND FLASH AWAY!!!

Just to clarify, is this from a test leak of GB that is coming for the TBolt? Either way, Thanks ssethv!!! I've been waiting to reroot and this might convince me!

This is for the new 'super rom' that team bamf has been working on for quite some time:-) and yes it is gingerbread based and it is based off a new radio leak build. I am very much looking forward to flashing this tomorrow and putting it through all its paces

Wow, a hot swapable 3D/2D rosie? That's something I haven't seen in any ROM yet. I tend to flip through home screens quickly, and I find myself accidentally spinning around and around too often. I've been waiting for a version that let's you turn it off. Now where's that damn download link?!

Just what I was going to say... I'm downloading it right now... just trying to find the MD5Sum code to be sure I've got a good download.

Anyone seen it???

****EDIT2: I'm getting the same MD5 code. I did find this a couple times in the BAMF Forum around pg 11 & 12 of the Preview thread.

That is what I got. Also if you're checking with Astro it cuts off the leading 0.

Didn't Das Bamf Post on their site that they were abandoning this project as they could not get it where they wanted to?

That was the old Sense 3.0 project. The one they have now is a combination of 2.1 and 3.0 and features can be enabled or disabled on the fly.
