Uber BAMF "Preview" Drops Tonight

I have good news and bad news for all of you that have enjoyed using dasBAMF roms. For those of you that may have been following Team BAMF, they've been working on a new project for a while code named "Uber BAMF," and announced it to the public on July 31st. This ROM was supposed to blend all elements of all ROMs together into one ROM where all the settings could be changed to the users liking. It was also supposed to use the new GB RUU leaked from Chingy, also used in the Gingeritis ROMs. Problem is, Chingy did not let the Team use his RUU for various reasons only he knows. (Note: This post isn't bashing Chingy, I'm sure he has his reasons for not letting the team use his base). Team BAMF has always said they were all about only the highest quality standards in their work, and they said the were not going to release an official Uber BAMF until they new it was the best it could be.
That's the bad news.
The good news is that they will be dropping an Uber BAMF "Preview" tonight. One of the devs tweeted the ROM would still be great, but it would still be plagued with some of the same bugs other ROMs based on the same RUU have, and they will not be working as hard to squash the bugs because they are going to continue working on another project. You can read more about this whole project here, and erishasnobattery (one of the devs) states why Uber BAMF will not continue in post #312. Just thought I'd inform the community.

Thanks for the heads up. Man sure hope they can get the new GB RUU, makes a big difference IMO. Loving the lack of bugs on Gingeritis.

Just flashed Gingeritis 3D but I guess there is nothing wrong with flashing multiply times in a day. Right?

Have to give any BAMF rom a shot because you know its going to rock

Same here. I went flash crazy until I hit upon CM7. I love the Sense stuff, but keep wanting to go back to AOSP after I saw both the performance and battery gains it gave me.

That said, I'm eager to try out the latest BAMF rollout. Whenever I'm in the mood for a Sense ROM, it's a BAMF one that I flash.

Sounds good.. thanks for the heads up. I've been waiting for them to release this. I've had no problems with using the official MR2 so not having Chingys radio wont stop me from flashing this.

I'm solidly loving CM7 right now as well.... I have not touched BAMF in a while, but I'd say with good reviews I might be willing to try it out for a while if it looks good.

Wow, I would really like to know the reason why Chingy didn't want to share his build with them. Hopefully Team BAMF can't get their hands on another leak, or we'll all just have to wait it out for the official release like everyone else.

Anyone have a clue about what other project they're working on?

Before my recent AOSP kick, I ran various BAMF ROMs for about three months. Great ROMs and interested in seeing what they having in store for us.
