I take ZERO credit for these ROMs. I am providing this thread, information, links, and most importantly SUPPORT for my AC peeps. Please visit the RootzWiki threads of winner00 and Euroskank and show them the love!!
[AOSP][4.1.1] CM10 Kang **Updated 7/18 10:15pm MST** - Nexus 7 Development - RootzWiki
[CM10][Jellybro] Grouper Nightly Kangs - Nexus 7 Development - RootzWiki
[WARN]Flashing ROMs is serious business and always comes with a bit of risk. Niether Android Central nor myself are responsible for anything you do to your tablet... However we will be here to try and help you if you have issues.[/WARN]
[NOTE]Remember.. As a Nexus, your device can pretty much ALWAYS be restored to stock, factory condition if you do anything stupid, lol. My guide will walk you through that: http://forums.androidcentral.com/go...ide-factory-image-restore-your-nexus-7-a.html[/NOTE]
This is CM10 Alpha for the Nexus 7. There might be bugs but everything should be working.

I personally recommend Kejar's 7/15 Gapps build, as it contains a more current Gmail and other apps optimized for your tablet. However, note that as it is not the officially tested gapps package recommended by the developers, you might run into a snag or two.. but you ought to be fine.

Flashing Instructions:
1. ROM and Gapps on sdcard.
2. If you have activated Google Wallet on your tablet already: Open Wallet.. Go to settings. Select RESET WALLET. When finished exit without activating it again.
3. Reboot to recovery.
4. MAKE A BACKUP!!
5. Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
6. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache.
7. Format System.
8. Install ROM. Install Gapps.
9. Reboot.
10. Enjoy CM10 on your Nexus 7!!
Update Intructions:
Updating from one nightly of the same ROM to a later one, you can usually get away with what we call a "dirty-flash".. This will keep your apps, settings and data and just update you to the latest build. It's very hard to know if it will work perfectly, as there could have been significant system changes from one nightly to the next, but often you can get away with it. If you dirty-flash and run into issues such as random Force Closes (FC's) or other errors, please assume you need to do a full wipe and flash again, don't blame the ROM.
1. ROM and Gapps on sdcard *make sure you use the same gapps file as you did in your first flash.
2. Reboot to recovery.
3. MAKE A BACKUP!!
4. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache.
5. Format System.
6. Install ROM. Install Gapps.
7. Reboot.
8. Enjoy your updated CM10 ROM!!
Note: Just in case you are missing Wallet after flashing (I was), grab it from the Play store here: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ogle.android.apps.walletnfcrel&token=Qlk4Rx4o
Remember Step 2 about resetting it before flashing your new ROM!!!
New to the ROM flashing game? Concerned about wiping and losing all your games and data? Check the link in my sig and read about how to easily restore your goodies with Titanium Backup!
All credit goes to the Cyanogenmod team, to whoever made the gerrit submissions, and to the devs putting it all together for us to enjoy!
