Well here is waht i noticed:

native text messaging is smoother, less glitchy (nothing to run home to mom about)

Transitioning from Car Dock or Multimedia dock is ALOT better

Taking the phone out of the Car Dock, or just hitting the Exit button from the dock used to take 45-60 seconds before the home screen appeared... This is a GREAT fix! I was just about to use one of the apps in the Market to keep the Car Dock software from launching.

The app drawer now launches faster and is MUCH more responsive.

I'm not sure if this was possible before, but I can now slid the dock(bar along the bottom) independently from the page, from side to side....it's showing + signs right now which I guess I can put more widgets on and shortcuts

This is not new in Launcher Pro.

plus 1 to all that has been said including a couple that only a few noticed - specifically the menu popup when clicking a contact profile pic and the led light when charging.

I can now edit events in the calendar (coprorate account) which I could not do before.

VZ Nav all up in the phone now. Option to use VZ or maps when selecting.

Within contacts touch photo and brings up short cut options (that damn VZ nav is up in there too)
