Live Focus not working as before after Pie update

After Pie update on S9+ (Feb 16/2019), Live Focus requires a subject 3-5 ft away (foreground) to work. It jumps from "Live Focus" to "Live Focus not applied due to shooting conditions" while I'm taking a photo. I was taking interior photos that I could select as wide angle for my Real Estate business up until the Pie update. I've cleared the cache and data and ran the latest update today. Still not working. Any help would be appreciated. This feature was one reason I bought this device.
