live wallpaper keeps crashing

Hello! So I customized the crap out of my Meizu M2 (using Buzz Launcher) and I wanted the finishing touch to be a nice live wallpaper to liven up my screen. But it keeps crashing after a few minutes or whenever I lock and then unlock my screen, leaving me with a black background which makes me have to reset my normal wallpaper each time. I tried clearing the cache of the wallpaper app and reinstalling it as well, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Please and thank you!

Which wallpaper app are you using and which Android version is your phone running? It could be some incompatibility between that app and your custom launcher. Have you already tried using a different live wallpaper app?

I've tried multiple different live wallpaper apps and they do the same. I'm using the Heart Live Wallpaper by Keynan Software and my Meizu is running Android 5.1
