Live Wallpaper

Curious? How do i get Live wallpapers to run on my HTC Wildfire? Thanks.

If its supported, from the home screen , hit the menu key, hit wall paper, select the live wall paper you want there will be a button that says set as wall paper..

If it is not suppported you will most likely need to root and find an installation process

Hey Chucks, Try downloading Launcher pro, i read someplace that it will work that way. let me know your results please

is the wildfire 2.2? if it isnt it wont get live wallpapers unless it has the version of sense the Dinc had when it came out if you have 2.1 on the willdfire and flash a 2.2 ROM you will be able to have live wallpapers but it wil probably Make your phone VERY SLOW

My Wildfire has 2.1 my friend has a HTC Desire with 2.1 and they run fine but i'm sure there is a bit of a jump between the 2 device's performance wise. But I will look into it...

yeah try the launcher pro thing,,,,and if that doesnt work you can flash a new ROM (custom operating system) i saw that Wildpuzzle rom has Live wallpaper running

I can not help you on this , you may need someone with an HTC guys to help you through this process, Please read this thread very carefully to make sure you know what you are getting yourself into....i looked it over and it looks simple enough but if you are not comfortable with it , study up and ask for help
