How much extra battery do live wallpapers use up? Also, are there any extended life batteries available that don't increase the size of the phone?

Its tough to say exactly. Probably get an hour or two less of battery life. I trend to think its worth it but your milage may very.

I tried it, makes the phone lag and wastes battery life, its nice to brag about when someone is flashing their iPhone but the sad truth is, it isn't really worth anything else

I don't see any difference in battery life with or without live wallpapers

some claim it uses more, but those are probably the same people that use "Task Managers" even when they are completely unneeded
