live wallpapers

Anybody use live wallpaers? I know they drain power but why not they look great.. anybody know of some hq versions?

There's an app I use called AnimGif LW2 which lets you use any GIF you want as your wallpaper. I just search for cool Gifs on Google under the images tab and download them. Then go under your live wallpaper section and choose the AnimGif LW2 option. The app will show all the gifs on your phone then choose the one you want to use. Works awesome as long as the gifs you choose are high quality.

I use Moon Phase Pro. It's pretty cool if you're a geek. They also have another called Terra Time that uses Earth (as either a flat map or as a round globe) and displays current clouds and night/day shadows.

As for battery life, the Terra Time can drain if it is set too short a refresh time. The Moon Phase one doesn't seem to do much drain at all. The moon one has several different types of visual versions. One is very detailed and more 3D looking to me. The other is "maximum realism" and is what you'd see if you look up. The third is "cheese mode" and very yellow.

Paperland is a lot of fun. The moon phase is correct and the live weather is cool. Plus there are tons of options for the cars and trees and buildings, lakes, hills etc...

Yeah, I've got both of these apps. They're great. I tend to use Terra Time on my Note 4 and Moon Phase Pro on my Note 2. They're both really cool as live wallpapers.

Have you noticed much of a drain with the Terra Time? I did with my S3 prior to using Juice Defender.

Not really. Before the battery in my Note 2 started losing its charge, I was using Terra Time on it and was getting 3-4 days of up time. The Note 4 seems to have a long up-time as well so far.

I've downloaded this, how do I get the weather and click on my screen please?
Are they widgets? Or on the paperland app? They are not showing up.
