I am here for some guidance and expertise in wrangling our cell phone issues. I am feeling academically defeated with tech. It just never seems to be completed.
I have inadvertently remotely wiped my wifes old LG phone; likely called a factory reset, I don't know. She has a new phone and was just using this old one for a game or two, and to store some pictures etc.. I thought it was my old LG that I was seeing and I wiped it remotely. Big mistake!
Can the deleted data be recovered?
I will start a thread in the appropriate forum but this is why I am here.
I hope somebody can help me. I feel defeated by technology right now.

Unfortuantely the remote wipe cleaned out all data on the phone. The only way to recover any data is if it was previously backed up to a cloud service.

Yah, it seems like no matter how much I learn I am still merely tinkering.
My wife found a way to sync the old phone with her new phone, or retrieve things from cloud or something so that problem seems to be solved.
I posted a thread in 'Questions' concerning another problem. Hopefully I can find some help with that one.
