Hey longtime snooper first time poster,

Drunkenly lost my phone on early sunday morning, it was close to running out off battery when I lost it.

I'd turned off the data but pretty sure I had the WiFi on. If someone turns it on will I be able to track it using Android Device Manager?

I've put a lock on it and put a number on to contact me just in case or am I wasting my time?

Oh and I have tried using 'Android Lost' but it's waiting for the phone to be registered. (I have sent the registration text to the phone)

Any help would be appreciated :)

You can as long as the phone is turned on and connected to WiFi AND it hasn't been wiped already. Since your phone was set up for your WiFi networks, even if the antenna is on, it won't connect automatically to non-known networks. Until someone turns it on and connects to either WiFi or mobile data in its current state (again, if they wiped the device, registration to your account is lost), the lock or wipe or locate request cannot be completed.
