Location is turned on in camera settings, but never shows up. How can I get it to show up?

I turned location on in camera settings but none appear

You mean that no location is recorded for the photos?
Have you tried a Power Off and Restart, which may trigger it into action?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Be aware that the option is often the opposite of what you might think. So if you turn the switch on, it may prevent​ location tagging of the photo you take.
