Location services

Has anyone noticed that your location services icon disappears when using navigation? It doesn't happen right away but comes right back when I go into settings for location. Navigation seems to work just fine though.

Also, can someone please tell me if having the VZW location option checked has any value or just another way for Verizon to track us?

If im not mistaken the VZW location option is only used with the vzw bloatware like navigation so I dont think it does

If you allow VZW location it uses cell towers to help pinpoint your location well actually it is one of the wider area approximation bases it triangulates using the closest 3 cell towers. It works on anything using location but does run faster on the Verizon apps
