What about stock on over the phone orders? I always the best deal that way and for sure not at the stores and i will be traveling so the store is not an option anyway. Also will they have the cases and all that way too on thursday?

Come on... be serious! There is not going to be a crowd for this device launch. Many of the people that were interested in this device have moved on and realize that the delays were for a reason, and more than likely not for a good reason! The HTC Thunderbolt is not going to sell out in one day, especially since there has been a whole month of production since the first anticipated launch date. Don't be foolish and rush out to buy this handset the Thunderbolt. It would be best to wait andlet others report on any problems it may have before spending your hard earned dough on a device that may have problems and short battery life!

It's the Infuse, and it seems like ATT is getting the kewl fast Android handsets while Verizon sucks Apples stem and holds back releasing any new handsets while they attempt to unload their overstock of iPhone 4's.
Fact is, is yo do not live in the signal range of one of the 39 cities that has 4G LTE service, yo will be getting 3G on your 4G phone, and if Verizon goes to teired pricing, you will be paying extra for your 3G phone service. Then in June or July when they really start rolling out kewl 4G phones with dual cores and better features like HDMI out, your Thunderbolt that you raced out to buy will seem lame... oh wait... it already does!

I stopped by my local verizon store here in Philly. The guy said he had no idea about when the tb was coming. Then I took his Zoom and showed him some posts here....he then went and check and said the system said the 17th but they always had some date that got delayed. But this looks good. He also said they have no way of knowing how many they are getting but chances are they will get many since they are the top selling store in the area.

Nah, he's just a troll... period. Everytime someone mentions the thunderbolt, whether on here or on Twitter, he has something negative to say.
There will be no lines for this phone. Just go to the store and pick one up. Trust me on this, there will be no lines. The interst in this phone is minimal at best. This is not meant to bash the phone but I just don't think there is much interest in it.

I tend to agree. There's a lot of geek Internet hype but Joe consumer doesn't know squat about it. That being said, I'll call my closest store Thursday and see if they'll hold one for me to pick up at noon.

This dude has a serious issue with Verizon and this device for some reason.. You would think by now everything would be happiness and love.. lol
I only think that stock maybe an issue as I see the furor that the interwebs is in over this device. I never thought that the verizon Iphone would generate any interest but this device is a whole other beast..
Not saying anyone should camp out.. just saying that if you cant get in early then do the online ordering etc..

No clue... to be honest I dont really even check into retail partners. I got the heads up from a district sales person. Retail and Sales isn't my area I just wanted to let those that were interested know what is expected.
I wish I could go to the store and pick one up. As a VZW employee I can only buy online from VZW. I wish I could get Reward Zone credit at Best Buy. I can't complain too much though, I get half off on my bill and 35% off accessories.
