Location Verification

First off I've been lurking for awhile. I'm pumped about the phone and switching to Android. I've learned alot from the website. Currently rocking a BB Pearl 8130. I can't upgrade until Aug. If only Sprint would allow me to upgrade early.

I currently live in Salt Lake City. I'll be moving to the DC area in June. If Sprint is charging $10 a month if you live in a 4G area and won't be charging you if you don't how will they know if you live in a 4G area. Would they go off your phone number or your mailing address? Or will they just go with the automatic detection of you're phone is pulling 4G or not?

The fee will be charged to your account as long as you have the phone. Its not dependant on whether you live in a 4G area or not. Its so you can use 4G if you happen to travel to a 4G area, and for uncapped 3G/4G.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll still get it of course. Just have to take that into account when doing my billing.
