lock button for pictures?

Been googling and can't find if it's possible to use the lock button to snap photos. Would be easier to take selfies if it's possible. Anyone here found a way to do this? Couldn't find anything in camera settings and there's nothing in my search results about it. Thanks.

The volume down button works to snap a selfie. Hope that helps you!

Didn't know that. Thanks for the help! I just assumed the lock button would've done it and didn't try anything else.

Also, if you didn't already know, you can quick launch the camera by pressing the volume down button twice when the phone is off. That is of course as long as you're not listening to music, because then it will just lower your volume.
