lock key?

when i make a phone call there is a icon that comes up showing a padlock
"press the lock key to unlock"....soooooowhere the .... is the lock key to press..the call goes thru but i cant acess any options? rrrrrrr
can someone explain this probably very simple solution?

In order to "access" your phone you have to push the power button at the top of the phone. Which will allow you to get the "screen lock" off while in a call.

At least as far as I know there is no way to get this annoying lock off while in call.

I think this auto locking feature is Samsung's way to keep your cheek from operating the phone during a call...maybe?

Unless pressing the power key disconnects your call instead as it does on my phone. Grrrrrrr. HATE this and can't find a thread that gives instructions to fix it. Any suggestions??

When you go to menu, settings, accessibility, it will come up with a box telling you "no accessibility related applications found......(bunch of other stuff it says, too). It gives you the option to click "ok" or "cancel". Clicking "ok" will install a screen reader". You want to click "cancel" which will get rid of that box and then you SHOULD see "power button ends call" written on the screen which has a checkmark to the right of it, and your checkmark will be green. Tap the green checkmark to uncheck it and it should make it so pressing the power button does not end the call any more, and thereby ending the issue you're having.

So follow that and that should take care of your issue.

For my prevail I found the android app"auto unlock." it's 1.29. The
App icon is green with a white lock on it. It disables the slide lock.
lock down one to go! Hope I helped Lisa!

If the power button is hanging up your call when you press it. Go back to Accessibility settings and uncheck the box where it says power button ends call.That should help that situation
