Lock screen changed - how to reset it?

my phone: OnePlus 12 CPH2583, running CPH2573_16.0.0.201 (EXo1) - rooted

The other day, I turned on Screen Lock (because an app at which I was looking requires one). I decided not to use the app, so I turned off the Lock Screen. However, the lock screen has changed - it now shows a clock and (annoyingly) it does some weird stuff when there is a SMS or a few other things.

Question: How can I reset my Lock Screen? I have looked through the various settings, but have seen nothing that accomplishes this.
