Lock screen not displaying anything except for the wallpaper.

I have a Samsung Galaxy J5. I'm having this problem that on random occasion my phone won't display anything on the lock screen except for the wallpaper. The clock is gone, the unlock pattern is gone etc. I can fix this problem by rebooting the phone, but the major issue I have is that my alarm for some reason doesn't go off because of this. Does anyone know what might be causing this lock screen error to occur?

It might be related to some 3rd party app you installed. You could try booting into Safe Mode, but if the problem doesn't happen very often, it can be hard to pinpoint the app. SAMSUNG J500F Galaxy J5 - Safe mode - HardReset.info
