Can someone please explain how I get rid of the lock screen security on my Note 4.
I currently have to swipe my thumb to unlock the screen but always need to enter my code at first startup to unlock the screen. Recently the swipe mechanism is taking much longer to work, but the worst thing is that on startup it asks for the the code but the keyboard is not appearing, or it appears for just several seconds and disappears which is insufficient time to get the full code in. This results in numerous reboots until I get lucky and manage to get the code in. Took 15 minutes this morning to get using the phone.
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT...
Solved this now thanks. But for the benefit of anyone with similar problems I'll explain a bit more. I didn't need to change anything with the lock screen. I simply uninstalled loads of apps that I rarely use. This obviously freed up the system and the screen lock etc works perfectly every time. My 16 year old son told me that was the problem as I have way too many apps
