Lock screen time out

When I turn on my note, the lock screen disappears before I have a chance to try to put in the code. Is there a way I can adjust the length of time the lock screen stays open.

If you have a power-saving mode turned on, turn that off. Also, is Smart Stay turned on?

Power saving mode is on, smart stay is off. Do you know if I turn power saving mode off how will it effect battery life?

I recall seeing this issue before, and turning power-saving off fixed it. What level of power-saving are you using? Is it Ultra Power Saving, or the standard? Or can you customize it?

To be honest, I never use power-saving modes, because I don't like how they usually impact the device's performance.
