Lock screen turn off time

[Android Central Question]

The lock screen of my Samsung S7 turns off after like 5 seconds, which makes me really nervous. (like when its on standby and I press the home button without entering my password). Is there a way to prolong this time the lock screen is shown?

Welcome to Android Central! I don't think so -- the rationale is probably that if you don't make an effort to unlock the screen pretty soon after you wake the phone, then there's no reason to stay on and potentially waste battery. If a power-saving mode is on, that might make it turn off even more quickly, so see if that might be the case.
