Hey all, what are you guys using as your lock screen? I'm using locker master and while it's pretty cool, I don't know how I can change the clock and whatnot on DIY themes.

Any ideas?

Glance. Still I beta but functionality one of the best

Had a couple of issues with battery drain but the devs are looking into it.

Gonna try this locker master.

One of the 2 the things I miss from my ios (jailbroken) days..... bitesms (chomp has some gaps) and....

Lock info..... to me that was the best lock screen app

Problems in lockscreens when first booting N5 in the morning
Hello everyone,

I have my Nexus 5 since january. It`s been a really great experience.
I love to customize my N5. I am always changing icons, wallpapers and lockscreen looks.
For that, I keep looking for new apps in foruns like this, or Mycolorscreen, or Deviantart and etc.
One of this days, I found these lockscreen apps:
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../store/apps/d...kscreen.galaxy&token=V68PXflB
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../store/apps/d...screen.optimus&token=DikWqraX
and
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../store/apps/d...ockscreen.sony&token=0NgPib10
All of them are from the same developer. They are really beautiful, well designed and I was very happy with the look and experience that those apps gave me.
But soon I notice something strange when I first boot my phone in the morning: the N5 kept the home screen lit... It did not matter how many times I pushed the main button, trying to turn the scrren off and get the lockscreen working. I also noticed that the apps that usually open in the first boot were not getting started. Their notifications were not showing up. The screen kept ligthen up in my homescreen...
I was suspecting that these apps that were working properly before the installation of the three lockscreen apps above, were "fighting" with the new apps (the lockscreen apps). As the lcokscreen apps are from the same developer, I figured that they were the problem. So I unsitalled them. The apps that have always been working fine before the lockscreen apps have been installed are:
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../store/apps/d...roid.lightflow&token=R9NbmIz3
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../store/apps/d...oid.g3watchdog&token=bYUWfWYk
and
http://www.amazon.com.br/MacroPinch-...ywords=bateria?tag=androidcentral00-20&m1k=vb_ac
I have been using the stock lockscreen since then...

Today (May 11th), I found the following lockscreen app:
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../store/apps/d...flocker.global&token=7os0s664
and decided to give it a try. And I loved it. It is a very beautiful lockscreen.
But after trying it for some time, learning how to use it... I reeboted my N5...
Unfortunally, the issue I (tried to) describe above happened again. After reeboting, the screen got lightened all the time. I push the main button and the scrren did not turn off. 3G watchdog, Battery and Lighfolw don`t show the notifications of starting up.
So, I am back in Nexus 5 sotck lockscreen!

I would love to use these lockscreen apps. But I don`t know what is going on. Can someone pelas help me???

I am sorry if this thread is confused. It is not easy to try to explain it in english. lol

MY NEXUS 5 IS NOT ROOTED

Just go to the DIY tab and click on the "+" to create your own theme. There you can add the wallpaper, time/date/battery widget (each of these will have a down-arrow that you need to click upon which it will install those widgets via play store. then come back to the DIY panel and use those). Same goes for the lock/unlock widget. I am currently using a DIY theme with a nice zipper unlocker :)

What I am not able to get though is how to get the lock screen to display notifications from mail or whatsapp the way iOS does it. I have to press the home button to get to the lock screen, then pull the notifications center down to see the notifications.

Go to settings - security - device administrator and make sure that Locker master is unchecked on that list. Then try to uninstall the app from settings - apps.
