I just got my new Samsung Moment 3 days ago and i'm really liking the flexibility of the phone and the open market. I haven't had much of any troubles setting up or customizing the phone other than one little thing. I have had quite a few phones in the past and sort of think of myself as pretty capable. This is why it pains me to ask such a stupid sounding question.
How do I lock the screen when i'm done using the phone? I'm not talking about security locking feature where you use the on screen unlock patter recognition. I'm talking about just shutting off the screen so that when i put it in my pocket none of the touch sensitive buttons can be activated. With pretty much all phones i have had in the past just pressing the END button (right of optical eye) closes the screen. Page 38 of the manual also says that is what you are supposed to do but when i press the button once nothing happens. If i hold the button in i get the screen that asks if i want to put it in silent mode, airplane mode or turn off the phone all together.
Am i missing something in the settings that disable that feature? As of now i just have to leave it out until the screen times out and it locks itself.
Thanks,
