Ok i just bought a logitech revue on Monday. Everything went well the setup was a breeze and in no time i was watching tv and surfing the internet. I have a 46" Toshiba Regza
LCD HDTV and i have a Comcast Cisco RNG200 DVR. A couple of days after the keyboard started to not work with my TV and DVR. I was able to turn on the TV and or DVR through the keyboard but that was it. I wasn't able to access the DVR or use the guide or pretty much anything with my DVR. With the TV i wasn't able to turn up the volume. After a couple of minutes it would start working again and it would work flawlessly. From that day on every time i come home and try to use the keyboard it happens. Matter of fact i am writing this from from the keyboard and everything is working well, but a while ago i had the same problem. I dunno what's causing this. Another thing i would like to add is that i have the little receiver hooked to the revue that it came with so i have it set up good. My wife doesn't know how to use the keyboard yet so she uses the remote from the DVR to control the DVR and TV. Could that be what's causing the problem? Maybe? I dunno... Now that i think about it it would make sense.... If anyone can help please give me a hand. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks...

I doubt it's the other remote causing the problem.

This will sound ridiculous, but try changing the batteries (My stock batteries died in my Sony remote after like 2 weeks). Also, make sure you check your IR Blaster positioning.

Now that you said that the remote came with the batteries on already.. That's kinda weird... My IR blaster is in top of the revue. Is there a better place to put it or is that fine?

I'm not all that familiar with the the Revue but the IR Blaster(s) should be on your cable box (near its IR receiver). The Logitech remote should work with the Revue without IR Blasters. The IR Blaster should connect to the back of the Revue and then be placed near the IR receiver on the other things you're trying to control (because you're controlling them with the Revue).

Does that make sense?

Yes it does... I understand that the IR blaster is only for the other devices i wanna control though the revue keyboard. I have the revue on top of my blu-ray which is on top of my dvr.... I guess i will move it closer to the dvr and closer to the tv and see if it fixes it. I hope it does because what you say makes a lot of sense.... Thanks....

I hope it works for you. Be sure to update us if your figure out the problem.

Completely off the topic, but how do you like the Logitech Keyboard? Do you find it too big or perfect for what you need to do?

It's perfect IMHO... But it could use some improvements like a back lit keys would help a lot when the lights are off. It's very light weight so you can easily hold it in one hand. The mouse pad is conveniently placed or the right on top of the arrow keys which make it really easy to control all of the functions with your thumb when you grab it from the right side. The keys feel really nice when you type. So yeah it is perfect for what i need for and it is not too big...

I feel the same way with mine. I hear the mini controller is backlit so I gotta check that out
