It's certainly Verizon. I'm fairly positive that's got to be against FCC rules somehow.
What a terrible carrier. If their security is compromised they've pretty much placed a backdoor on this device for everyone on their network.
True. Don't get me wrong i like 2 of the games that came but i would like a pop up at least asking for permission. Is this what people call bloatware?
It's an app called DTIgnite, comes preloaded on your phone.
Can they remove it?
Didn't they say the day they presented the Note 7 they were going to come preloaded with a bunch of expensive games? Or am I making that up?
Has anyone noticed that apps are being downloaded to their note 7 without actually downloading it yourself? Lol I've had 4 games and 2 apps just now lol. I'm sure it's my carrier (Verizon) or samsung doing this right?
I have Verizon and I didn't have any apps or games download by themselves. I had some Samsung apps auto update but thats it.
Whatever the source of your download is try changing any settings they have in there regarding "auto-download" to "never."
Did you log into your Google play account?I have Verizon and I didn't have any apps or games download by themselves. I had some Samsung apps auto update but thats it.
I have verizon and twice in the week ive had the phone it has downloaded 4 games, i deleted them but i dont like them doing that.
I usually disable dtignite and had forgot too, got it disabled now.
I don't have it either!I have a Verizon Note 7 and didn't have DTIgnite installed or any of the usual bloat ware. All of the Android phones I've had recently on Big Red have always had a ton of stuff to disable but not this time. I thought they had turned over a new leaf...sounds like I just got lucky. No auto downloads either. Had the phone since launch day.
