Hi all,
I upgraded to Lollipop last week, but it seems to me the battery is draining quicker than normal, when used. I have around 2h 40 of SOT, not playing games, checking Maps a couple of times, but I have it optimize - and for the rest simply chatting and checking twitter - which is like 1% of the battery.
Is this normal for you guys or is it draining too quickly?

Mine lasts all day with occasional use. Some games, 30 min talk time, some text! I put it on charge when I go to bed and take it with me when I leave in the morning! Search for battery on this forum to find a lots of comments about battery life.

Hold down home key and see what is running, some apps do not turn off when you leave them. Mapping programs are notorious for battery drain and screen on time uses a lot of battery! Be sure to exit them when not in use or hold home key again to close them.

Yes, I do all that already, plus having brightness as low as possible, disabling sync, etc.
I wanted to know if 2h of SOT and my battery graph was considered normal for a S4 upgraded to Lollipop, since I've read of guys with 4h of SOT.

The Galaxy S4 is notorious for having a terrible battery life. My phone's battery life is about 2hrs when I am using it continuously. I have tried out several different custom roms and used numerous battery saving apps and nothing seems to make a difference. The culprits for draining your battery are usually the screen and the radio.
