lollipop crashed my battery

Ever since the lollipop update my phone doesn't go more than 7 hours.. (less than one hour screen time). Before that I could easily get my phone to go 30+ hours and 4+ on screen time. I want to reset my phone but don't want to lose my photos and snote memos. Any possible way of doing that???

You can back up your photos with either your google account or dropbox. As far as backing up your snotes you can back that up with your samsung account. if you want to be safe screenshot it. I really think you might have apps that Lollipop not liking which causing your phone to drain. Since my upgrade to Lollipop it's improved for me didn't have any issue infact i find the battery much better.

Hard reset would be the last resort, you should try to wipe the cache first, it's much easier than hard reset and may solve your problem.

You can always back-up with Kies.. Make sure you back up everything and watch the apps you back-up. Then, hard reset and reinstall your back-up. I used Kies to format my phone and do my upgrade as I saw many had problems with the OTA upgrade, and all is perfect on my end, except a few Lollipop annoyances of course...
