Do you guys snap pics of all of your screens so you can easily get back to work after a factory reset?

Ugh, and then all of the account settings in email, etc.... It can take days to get things back up...

Setting things up again is a pain, but you can have it done in an hour or so. It's really worth it. Plus it feels like you just got a brand new phone again .

Takes me about 3 hours to get everything back up, if I have a backup of my launcher saved. If not its more like 4 hours. Most of that time is going to each individual app and logging in. Makes me miss the root and ROM days. Titanium makes the process so much faster. But I am sticking to stock with this phone, I am determined lol.

So is it a best to reset before updating, then update, then download all the apps and such again?

I'm still thinking its tomorrow. I would be happy with today but I'm not counting on it. We haven't heard a peep out of HTC and they normally announce it on Twitter or FB

HTC Software Updates | HTC United States lists the update as "complete". Hopefully very soon. Leaving town this weekend, I'd rather apply the update today, just in case there are any problems before I fly out tomorrow night.

Got it yesterday outside Atlanta, GA. Hate it so far - can you say sloooowwww? Battery life way down. Have done all the quick fixes suggested on various sites with no success. Sad face :-(

Ok so this one is for anyone who may have S=offed and put a custom rom on but returned to stock:

I am having an error installing the first update. In recovery it is giving me /system/priv-app/htcspeakfull.apk has unexpected contents. installation aborted. is there anyone else in here in a similar situation?

For the rest of you, do let us know of any issues you come accross after installing!
