I only received my Z3 last week, and only just activated it on Saturday. Got my Lollipop update last night. For reference, 5803, unlocked on T-Mobile in the US.

Thus far, in very limited use, I love it.

NFC works just fine.

Still need to spend more time off charger to get a sense of any battery diffs, but my pre-Lollipop experience was so limited that I don't expect to notice a diff. Anything is better than the phone I was using up to Saturday morning.

Totally subjective, but Lolli feels quicker. When I first started using my Z3c last week, it definitely felt less laggy than my last phone (which it damn well should've), but not really, truly "fast." Now it feels fast. Maybe it's Lolli's animations, I dunno, but the sense that the phone is quicker really is notable and I wasn't expecting it.

I like the window dressing. I think the graphical updates to the apps look great, phone and calendar in particular.

Gonna take some time to get used to the Lolli notifications. Not sure I like them. Already removed them from the lockscreen.

Haven't found Answering Machine yet, aside from filtering the Recent Calls (maybe that's it?).

Need to turn off phone notifications because rejecting calls from the notification sends the call to voicemail and I want it to go to Answering Machine.

Love the ability to move apps to SD.

Love the ability to access the SD without issue.

Love getting work email via the Gmail app - now with conversation threads!

So far, so good.

Cheers
Jack

Agreed, lollipop is a nice upgrade. Not seeing any battery or performance issues, and I like the look and feel.

I got an update yesterday evening. Also so far so good. No issues with battery performance. The quite hours which were noticed missing in Lollipop from google, is done flawelesly in Z3C in my opinion.

Little bit different but promissing.

Can someone please post a few screen shots of the Contacts screen? I've been looking for the past hour, but haven't been able to see what the dialer pad, favorite contacts, groups, etc. look like in Lollipop. Thanks!! :)

after upgrade, my pattern doesn't show up till after I do a swipe, how can I skip this step... also I tried to just get rid of security but it won't let me select none for security b/c its disabled by administrator or encryption policy... It's a personal phone so i am the administrator ... How do I get rid of security or go direct to the pattern or password screen and bypass the extra swipe screen

My wife's 2012 Nexus 7 on Lollipop does the same thing. Very annoying as the tablet never leaves the house and doesn't need to be secured (no personal data, just recipes and such). Not sure how to fix it...

To get rid of security: settings-security-clear credentials. I had the same problem with the pattern so I did this and now I only use swipe to unlock screen
