Heres the link from today on AC.......According to AC News, 5.0.1 Samsung is rolling out right now in Poland. There have already been comments to that article that people are getting it now. So I would say it will hit the U.S. within a few weeks, depending on the carriers. And we all know how that goes.

I honestly hope they are not releasing firmware based on 5.0.1 unless Samsung is putting a lot of work into slipstreaming the fixes for the (among others) memory leaks and TRIM issues that came in 5.0.2 and 5.0.3.
5.0.3??
Oops, my bad. Jumped the version numbers there.
5.0.0 had some serious issues, 5.0.1 helped but left a bunch of memory issues, and 5.0.2 helped even more. My pea brain was counting from 1, not 0, on the Lollipop versions I had loaded to my Nexus 7 2012.
I cannot brain today, I haz the dumb.
I have no desire to update to Lollipop. It caused problems on my Nexus 7 and I didn't care much for the changes.
I hold fast to my initial thought that the big US carriers won't release until near the end of 1Q at the earliest.
Since the S5 for Verizon got the lollipop update how long for the Note 4?
I have 5.0.2 on my 2013 Nexus 7 (wifi only) and haven't experienced any problems. It's faster and has longer battery life.
