lollipop update

Welcome to the forums. It wouldn't surprise me. Moto has done a pretty good job of keeping devices up to date recently.

Be patient, you'll get it when you get it. It rolls out in waves. First around 10% will get it then if no major bugs are reported something like 25 to 50% will get it for around a week or two. It's to make sure stability and performance are good.

Lollipop update is already available for Moto E in India. If you haven't received it yet, you will surely receive it by the end of June. Although i have decided to stay with kitkat 4.4.4 for the time being as i do not like the changes implemented in Lollipop.
I hope that Moto E receives Android M update which seems to be an improvement over Lollipop however the likelihood of Moto E 1st gen receiving Android M is very low.
