Lollipop upgrade slowly crashed Nexus 4

Hello,

I have a Nexus 4, Thursday last week I excitedly upgraded my phone to Android Lollipop.
Friday I started to notice my battery getting eaten up --google told me its because of wifi issues
Friday I also started to notice few of my apps were not working anymore for eg: Skype, Viber
Saturday I noticed there is a considerable lag on my phone and once I locked my phone, I was unable to unlock it. So I restarted the phone and I could unlock it.
On Sunday (today) I cant unlock my phone, I tried restarting my phone and connect to my mac for a back up but my mac couldnt recogise my phone. and now it wont start up anymore
Please help!
