Long Press Google Assistant

[Android Central Question]

I tried Microsoft Launcher for a day, but since reverting back my long press home button option to launch Google Assistant does not work anymore, after microsoft launcher was UNinstalled.

It works "HALFWAY". The screen reacts and a white border appears on the screen, but the round button on the screen is empty not showing the "LISTENING" option, and then it disappears again after 2seconds.

I tried:
- rebooting
- changing long press button options
- google settings
- assistant settings
- app permissions

Nothing works - HELP !
