Longer battery life & longer charge time 4.4

I am definitely experiencing considerably longer battery life since the 4.4 update but it also takes longer to charge the battery. Anyone else experiencing this?

i have an increased android system usage (~20%) and it sucks down my battery. on cm11 until i can figure out a fix.

I am experiencing shorter battery life but I only upgraded to 4.4 over the weekend.
Add far as charging I actually think it takes less time.

Since update, Android system usage is killing the battery in both of my S3's. Have to keep them plugged up all the time and they take forever to charge now.

Sounds like it's time to wipe the system cache in Recovery mode and perform a Factory Reset.
