Well I guess I've looked at the A7 long enough.
Here are 10 thoughts about it:
Works fine on T-Mobile and an MVNO using the AT&T network.
LTE and Wi-Fi connections for me have been bulletproof so far.
No drops and no slowdowns in the Sacramento CA area.
Goes without saying music from this thing is stellar.
Amazing we can enjoy such sound clarity and detail from these devices.
Screen is gorgeous as far as I can see.
I'm not overly nit-picky about screens tho.
Call quality is good.
I won't use this for calls much however even with VoLTE.
Had no trouble simply sliding a SIM in and having MMS work here.
Another great device I bought recently had a problem with MMS on AT&T.
Not the A7 though no problems sending MMS at all "yay!"
The ZTE MiFavor OS features are ok for me.
Close to stock so I'm not disappointed or overly excited either.
Impressed with the manufacturing quality of this phone.
Very good feel to it with some weight.
So happy I got the dark grey one.
Again very nice.
Fingerprint sensor is OK.
Fails about once in five tries.
I may need to reset the fingerprint profiles.
Good enough overall yet not the fastest.
Non-lit hardware navigation keys are driving me nutz.
I was worried about this so I'm using one of the after market onscreen key apps in order to alleviate frustration there.
A 3rd party app is workable so far since MiPop was somewhat irritating for this user.
I'm not using the default camera app.
Opted for "Snap Camera" instead:

The camera is pretty dismal in lower light of course.
I'll need to fiddle with it more to hopefully get better results there.
Good light pics look sharp and pleasing to me although somewhat bland without a little post processing.
I'm not displeased with the camera due to it's features and potential.
I was a bit surprised this phone doesn't show as camera 2 API capable.
At least it showed "failed" when checking.
Smartphone camera performance seems all over the board these days anyway.
Maybe the checker I used is unreliable?

I won't go on...these were things I wanted to touch on being a brand new user.
A new phone is always so much fun!
