Looking for a case, need advice.

I'm looking for a case that if i happen to drop on the corner, it will not bust up my screen. I have the otter box defender and i had an accident where it busted the screen to pieces...so any advice would help.

TPU skins look ok, but I'm not a big fan of the gloss finishes.

Any thoughts on the Otterbox Commuter?

incipio makes a sturdy looking 2-piece case for the DInc 2 ... can't remember the name right now, but it's on the incipio website.

TPU cases are very very good. They won't pop off if you drop the phone and they offer excellent protection.

I agree with this, also there are TPU skins available that have a mat finish on the back instead of glossy. The one I use is half and half. Glossy finish on the front and mat on the back.

I've had my Dinc2 for only a week but I'm glad that I started out with the realization that I need to add protection to this expensive little thing.

I got an Otterbox Commuter -- it's very well designed. The on/off and volume control switches work better with the case than without. The audio and micro-usb ports are covered (with flaps for easy access). The phone works very well with the case and I only need to remove it to take out the battery.

I also got a screen protector and a water-proof case (which is a compromise - the phone isn't fully functional in that case -- but offers excellent protection in wet weather.)

Considering the cost of replacing a Dinc2, it makes sense to invest in protection -- especially when the phone is fully functional in something like the Otterbox.
