We are an android / Google household, music stored in Google music, etc... I was wondering if there happens to be an android device that is similar in price and reliability to an ipod nano but connects to Google music instead of itunes and also able to install android apps.

This will be for wifi only usage, would be nice if it had an sd card slot *AND* for an 8 year old.

She already has a nabi tablet but looking for something small that she can take her music with her but still have the ability to play android games and sync up over wifi.

Geeze, kids these days have everything don't they!?! :p

Like I said, she already has a tablet. Looking for a pocket able solution.

If you have an old phone laying around from a previous upgrade, that would work exactly like you want.

Yep, thats what I'm doing... The trick I am finding is that I want access to my Google account to download all the apps I have (some paid for) for my daughter and so there is access to Google's music. However, now that my account is connected to the phone, how can I make it so that she cannot access anything such as my email, my contacts, etc...

I know I can turn of sync of those items, but that is just security through obscurity.
