Looking for flash_eraseall

So I found this gem in my search for fixing my damn phones (wife is pissed because hers is more messed up than mine).

Looking for a copy of flash_eraseall that will work for our phones. I want to use it to clear the misc and persist partitions per zefie's suggestion.

And on an un-related note, how is it that I follow the instructions to the "T" and the phones still hang on bootup? Doesn't make any damn sense.

Why wouldn't the flash_eraseall in the post you referred to work on Optimus S?

It seems it is for Optimus.

I am at work and things aren't working for me on the work front either so my engineering brain is a jumbled mess of troubleshooting steps.
